Catalog system for all project information resources via SDDI catalog

A wide range of methods, data sets and software solutions have been developed during the SAVeNoW research project. All results and their relationships are registered in the following catalog, whereby a selection of the results are described in more detail on this page.

The Smart District Data Infrastructure (SDDI) has a modular structure and defines an organisational and technical framework consisting of actors, applications, sensors, an urban analytics toolkit, and a virtual district model. Actors are citizens and the city administration, but can also be other stakeholders like public transport services, utility service providers, and real estate firms. To enable the discovery of all kinds of distributed information resources of an urban digital twin, a catalog service is used to manage the distributed resources across actors. As part of the research project, the SDDI catalog was further enhanced and a catalog instance for SAVeNoW was deployed. To support the use of the catalog software for other cities and regions, the Kubernetes application stack is available as an open source project.
